75KV High-Voltage Cable Consultation and Related Knowledge
A customer recently came to consult us about 75KV high-voltage cables. He mentioned that the high-voltage cable head of the connecting tube on his X-ray machine was broken, and he needed to replace it, asking if we could handle this replacement. We responded affirmatively. Now, let’s learn some relevant knowledge about 75KV high-voltage cables.
The 75KV high-voltage cable is mainly used to connect the high-voltage generator and the X-ray tube head in large and medium-sized X-ray machines. Its core function is to transmit the high voltage output by the high-voltage generator to the two poles of the X-ray tube, and at the same time deliver the filament heating voltage to the filament of the X-ray tube, ensuring the normal operation of the X-ray machine.

Structure of High-Voltage Cables: According to the arrangement of concentric lines, high-voltage cables are divided into two types: coaxial type (concentric circle type) and non-coaxial type (non-concentric circle type).

Precautions for the Use of 75KV High-Voltage Cables:

1. Avoid excessive bending: The bending radius of the cable should not be less than 5 to 8 times its diameter. Excessive bending may cause cracks on the cable surface, thereby reducing its insulation strength and affecting the use effect.

2. Keep dry and clean: Always maintain the dryness and cleanliness of the cable, and avoid erosion by oil, moisture and harmful gases. Such erosion will easily lead to aging of the cable rubber, shorten its service life and even cause potential safety hazards.
