Causes of breakdown of high-voltage cables of x-ray machines
The breakdown of high-voltage cables of many hospital X-ray machines is a common fault, and most of the faults occur near the high-voltage cable plug.
The main reasons are:
(1) Because the power supply voltage does not match the rated voltage of the cable, or there is a high voltage intrusion during operation, the dielectric strength is damaged and it is broken down.
(2) The load current is too large, causing the cable to heat up and the insulation to deteriorate, resulting in cable breakdown.
(3) A grounding short-circuit fault occurred, which was not found at that time, but the cable was broken down after running for a period of time.
(4) Corrosion or failure of the protective layer. For example, if it is used for a long time, the hemp skin will fall off, the armor and lead skin will corrode, the protection will fail, and the insulation layer cannot be protected, and finally the cable will be broken down.
(5) External mechanical damage, or hidden dangers when laying, the cable is broken down after running for a period of time.
(6) The cable head is a weak link in the cable line. It often leaks oil due to the defects of the cable head itself or poor production quality, or poor sealing, which makes the insulation dry and water vapor invades, resulting in a decrease in the insulation strength, thus making the The cable is punctured.
