Precautions in the use of high voltage cables
In the use of x-ray high-voltage cable, attention should be paid to prevent excessive bending, so as to avoid damaging the insulation layer and reducing the insulation strength. We should strengthen maintenance and avoid rubber aging.
A capacitance distributed along the length of the x-ray high-voltage cable is formed between the high voltage cable core and the metal shield layer. The capacitance is small, but the electric energy on the capacitance can not be ignored because of the high voltage. Special attention should be paid to the maintenance. After pulling out the x-ray high-voltage cable, the core wire must be discharged to the ground to avoid electric shock.
