The arc holes can be seen on the surface of the high voltage cable assembly head in both cases, which need to be handled well. When removing carbides, the breakdown site should be incised and expanded, while incising and observing, and all the damaged parts should be exposed to avoid adverse consequences. After removing carbides, the carbides are treated according to the above cleaning methods and filled with one-component vulcanized silicone rubber or epoxy resin E44 as appropriate, with a certain amount of external force, so as to bond reliably. In the process of repairing the breakdown part, careful treatment should be taken so that the air gap can not be left to adhere reliably.
